Now headed by fourth-generation Rodolphe Peters, Pierre Peters’ Cotes des Blancs based estate comprises 18 hectares, dedicated entirely to Chardonnay, much of which comes from Grand Cru designated sites. The 2015 ‘Les Chétillons’ comes from a great vintage, aged for 48 months on the lees. Intense on the nose, the palate oozes with notes of dried flowers, chalky minerality, and rich nuttiness, giving way to an elegant, mineral-driven finish. ‘Les Chétillons’ is a powerful, 24-month sur lie Blanc de Blancs and is loaded with flavors of citrus rind, brioche, and white flowers.
Pair with all things fried for an out of this world experience.
