Lionel Faury took control of his family estate ten years ago. Their vines are located on steep terraces across some of the Northern Rhone’s best appellations and benefit from a southern exposure. Fruit for ‘Emporium’ is hand-harvested and sourced from the Fouvier lieu-dit. Fermentation lasts 18-22 days and 20-30% of whole clusters are included, followed by 27 months of aging in demi-muids and barrels.
Peppery with notes of olives, intense dark fruits and berries, this is a perfect match to all things grilled, red meats, and other hearty fare.
