Fruit was partially destemmed and fermented with native yeast, followed by two years of aging in French oak. The wine shows a bright yet powerful palate of sappy cherry and cassis, dotted with notes of tobacco and smoke. Gritty tannins and low alcohol give way to an elegant, refreshing finish.
