Domaine Morey-Coffinet is certified organic since 2018, a sign of the thoughtful transformation lead by Thibault Morey and his father Michel. The domaine is run in harmony with the terroir, with biodynamic practices prevalent these days. The family was featured in the film, A Year in Burgundy, highlighting the relevance of their work to the larger landscape of Bourgogne.
This wine is intense, refined, and powerful. The 2019 vintage lends a heighted structure, and interesting thread to enjoy. Hang on to this one for a few years, or drink now with butter-rich and creamy dishes. Grand Cru glory!
