Headed by fifth-generation winemaker Pierre, Domaine Duroché’s eight hectares of vineyards are situated across numerous premier and grand cru appellations. Fruit is whole cluster vinified with natural yeasts followed by élevage in barrel. The 2017 ‘Lavaut St. Jacques’ comes from a 1er Cru vineyard in Gevrey-Chambertin, leading to a palate full of silky red fruit flavors. Serve with game, roasted meat, or mushroom-based sauces.
