Brovia dates back to 1863, and over the (many) years, the family has acquired stunning vineyard sites in the vicinity of their home village of Castiglione Falletto and the nearby Serralunga d’Alba. This is one of the most meticulous of growers, dedicated to organic practices as a matter of course (not by certification). This is a classic Barolo, with herbal and savory notes on a dark fruit core. Fans love the aromatics, which are very expressive. You’ll be amazed at the balance of acidity and tannins on this, truly an excellent wine from a highly regarded vintage.
