Brovia dates back to 1863, and over the (many) years, the family has acquired stunning vineyard sites in the vicinity of their home village of Castiglione Falletto and the nearby Serralunga d’Alba. This is one of the most meticulous of growers, dedicated to organic practices as a matter of course (not by certification). This is a special single vineyard release, from the Rocche di Castiglione vineyard. It’s got miles of tempting cherry and herbal aromatics with complex herbal and underbrush notes. It’s quite concentrated and will drink well with truffle-infused dishes and Tuscan-style steak. Your friends will certainly be asking to come to dinner the night you open this one!
