Alzinger’s 11 hectares of vines span some of Austria’s greatest growing sites, including Steinertal and Loibenberg. Fruit is whole-cluster crushed and sees short macerations, creating elegant wines of pristine quality. Fruit for ‘Loibenberg’ Gruner comes from south-facing slopes, creating a peppery, concentrated wine full of citrus and vegetal notes.
Herbaceous and concentrated, the wine is loaded with vegetal-tinged notes of citrus skin, white pepper, and crushed rocks. The creamy texture is balanced by zesty acidity, making it a homerun bottle for a slew of dishes.
