Founded in 1863, the Brovia family has been producing traditional Barolo in the heart of Castiglione Falletto for over 150 years. Fruit is farmed organically and comes a variety of Piedmontese ‘crus’; vinification is classic and rustic, aged in Slavonian and French oak for 1.5-2 years and bottled unfiltered.
‘Ca’ Mia’ is loaded with tar-floral aromatics, full of juicy red fruit and grippy tannins. We’d lay this one down for a few more years.
