Founded in 1981 by Joel Hudelot and Chantal Baillet, this Chambolle-Musigny based estate is now headed by Joel’s son-in-law, Dominique Leguen, a serious advocate for low yields and lutte raisonée farming.
This Chambolle-Musigny ‘VV’ Pinot is complex and gorgeously balanced, with striking equilibrium between earth and fruit, the wine’s well-integrated tannins and zesty acidity make this wine crazy refreshing. Lively flavors of red and black fruits, potting soil, noted with zesty, blood orange-like acidity and a vibrant finish. Fresh and energetic, this bottle comes alive with mushroom-based dishes or grilled meats, savory soups, potatoes with gravy, and chicken dishes.
