Gail is a limited production, family-owned operation with a focus on the Sonoma Valley. This single vineyard release is sourced from a biodiverse spot at the base of Sonoma Mountain in the Warm Springs region.
Primary fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks before the wine was transferred to neutral oak barrels for a 20-month rest. In Gail’s signature style, you get a wine aged sur-lie to express terroir and varietal texture. After a clean racking, it was bottled unfiltered. Whiffs of eucalyptus, violet, and cocoa bring on a palate packed with dark berry flavor.
